They really should list the residency of minor league players on the roster. It would have saved Jim Adduci a lot grief. It also wouldn’t have given him a sweet nickname. Of course, the Canadian-born Chicago outfielder doesn’t seem too torn up about his “Place of Birth” listing on the Express roster. Having a solid year for the club, the outfielder and sometimes first baseman seems to be enjoying his first year with the Rangers organization.
